Prior to the injuries sustained whilst defending hearth & home from perceived intruders during January 2011, Femba was just getting into her stride in the Show Ring.

She qualified for the Top 32  SA Bred Dogs,  the prestigious Dog of the Year Competition and finished under the Top 100 Show Dogs in South Africa during 2010

With her Show career tragically cut short, Femba will hopefully still be capable of living a healthy and active life and in time, may well be able to pass on her classic genes in a limited judiciously considered, breeding programme. We will continue to love and support her towards the full, active and fulfilling life all Ridgebacks deserve.

A bitch pup which stood out in the whelping box, Femba is blossoming into an exciting youngster. Sweet natured and feminine, with all the indications of going on to become something special.

Already a winner in the Ring as a Puppy and Junior, she has all the attributes for a promising career, both in and out of the limelight.  And to be a faithful, gentle, fun companion too.  Also an effective watchdog to be one day, if and when required, as any Ridgeback should be!

Certainly one to watch in the years to come.
